Artists

Dear artists!

We are looking forward to spending this year’s ConQuest with you!

As always, you can apply either as an individual artist or as a whole group.

Here you can find the links to the new application forms:

The deadline for applications is 01.06.2023. We will of course try to get back to you as soon as possible, but at the latest by mid-June.

And here are the artist categories, with the current regulations for artists of all kinds.

There are three artist categories, from which you are free to choose which one suits you best:

  1. House Artists
  2. NPC artists
  3. PC-Artists* (no application is necessary here. See below).

Category 1:

The house artists enter into a fixed, remunerated (in money or other agreed services) contract with us, in which an X number of daily performances is recorded. The number and duration of the performances are then fixed and must be adhered to.

Example: Performing three gigs per day – two of which are for one hour, and one gig is one and a half hours in a tavern specified by RoM/BS. In return you get free tickets, team meals, and a small fee with amount X. The exact times and consideration are negotiable with us. This is just an example.

Category 2:

NPC artists are artists within the LARP (i.e. musicians, jugglers, fire players, dancers, etc.). They do not have to be artists outside of the LARP event, but of course they can be. The NPC artists animate the artists’ guild and must also camp in the artists’ quarter. NPC artists have free play, may also play in the taverns and squares with art, but have no predefined dates/appearance times. For plot-related things, such as the wedding of the Capo, jugglery for the seedling, etc., it is desired that these NPC artists* actively participate in such play. How exactly this looks like will be decided in the game and in the guild and, in rare cases, will be requested by the director.

Category 3:

PC-Ticket for artists. You buy a normal PC ticket for the current season, play an artist, and are free of any expectations and constraints. You are free to do whatever you want. You may camp wherever you like, but you are also welcome to camp in the artist district if you support the guild play there. (Note: NPC artists have priority here. Since we only have a limited amount of space available for the Artists’ Quarter, you may not be able to stay in the Artists’ Quarter with this ticket). You do not have to apply for this category.

For all latecomers who apply after the application deadline: Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a free place so late, but you are still welcome to contact us so that we can quickly find out if something is still available. The best thing to do is to send an email to regie@mythodea.de

Basically, it is very important to us to be nice and polite to each other, both face to face and in writing and social media – so that everyone can enjoy having a good time together. We hope that the new rules are simple and understandable, and that we can have a nice event together at ConQuest!

Note: If your application is not accepted, you can purchase a player ticket for the first season. If you withdraw your application and would rather come as a player, you can buy a ticket from the current price scale.

Bonus info about Chronicles of Mythodea and Beyond the Seals:
