Lead by Paolo Armatio and the Archon and Nyame, Rulers of the First Seal, the next seal in the north of Mythodea is reached. Paolo’s friend and comrade Phileas Strongbow is captured by the Black Ice, which had been released the year before. He reappears, now bearing the title of "Sharuhn’Ar” and leading the armies of the Black Ice against the settlers. Nevertheless, the settlers succeed in opening the second seal and naming a second Archon and Nyame. From beneath the Seal of the North the Void, another forsaken element is set free.
